As long-time admirers of Buaisou and their craftsmanship, we have built a close relationship over the years. What began with a shared appreciation for quality and process has developed into an ongoing collaboration. Together, we have created a carefully considered series of pieces, from uniquely designed bandanas and indigo-dyed coasters to T-shirts. Each project brings together Buaisou’s deep knowledge of traditional Japanese indigo dyeing with April’s approach to contemporary design. At its core, the collaboration is about a shared respect for craft, heritage and the value of making things well.
